Our estate is situated in the heart of a Premier Cru appellation, in ‘Les Mesneux’, near Reims. For five generations, our family has been cultivating Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay with care and dedication on our 6-hectare vineyard. Our rich and varied range of champagnes is crafted with love and passion. Our bottles have been aged for a long time in our traditional cellars; they are now ready to reveal their character and distinctiveness, and to offer you the pleasure of a winemaker’s champagne. Winegrowers from father to son, the LEROY-BERTIN family has been passionately practising the art of winemaking for generations. Located a few kilometres from Reims,
‘Les Mesneux’ is a typical Champagne village, surrounded by vineyards.
The estate covers 6 hectares, planted with the three traditional Champagne grape varieties. The breakdown is as follows: Pinot Noir 33 per cent, Pinot Meunier 45 per cent and Chardonnay 22 per cent.
From tending the vines to the hand-harvest, from pressing to winemaking, right through to bottling and dispatch, every stage is carried out with care and precision, in accordance with the principles of the Champagne tradition.
At LEROY-BERTIN, it’s all a family affair, and during the famous ritual of blending the cuvées, every member tastes the wines and offers their judgement, to produce Champagnes full of character, exemplary in their typicity and consistency.
